A “wrinkly”-faced man clobbered an elderly woman over the head with a metal pipe in an Arizona pizzeria — and then stole her pie, according to cops and a disturbing new video.
The 77-year-old victim was walking out of Peter Piper Pizza with two pies just after 3:45 p.m. April 21 when the unidentified pipe-wielding suspect stood in wait.
As the woman attempted to open the door, the man blocked her path, menaced her with the weapon and then clocked her with it, the clip shows.
He then grabbed one of the pizza boxes and ran off.
Tuscon Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-6 or shorter, with a “wrinkly face.”
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the robbery — or a man fleeing the area with a pizza box — to call 911, or 88-CRIME to remain anonymous.
